Got out yesterday with a few of my buds. The ice was up to 2 inches thick in some places. We had a mild permafrost going in non deep water areas. Everyone waiting for the firemaker to get to work He building the hearth! Trapped under ice.. My Ice breaker boots went into action.. The biggest gold we go for today was Mark's lil sticker. Here is my angus mackirk with the abyss riffle system it's the recon II. A rock with a galena vein in it..

You forgot to mention the gold specimens we found at the second site. I hope to get a picture of mine up today
