Thanks for the day on the water. Quite a rotating crew today. Sluice looked pretty good. Can't wait to find time to pan it down and see how it all really played out. Will try and post pictures when done. Hopefully in a couple days. Work is gonna suck this week after being out most of last week because of the weather. Have a good un.
My daughter wants to skip school tomorrow to go "gold rushing".. Raisin her right!

got a late start to the day. still found some gold though. its was good seeing everyone out in the creek puting in the effort even though the water was stupid cold. also got to use an angus mackirk eureka sluice again. i can say i like it more and more everytime.

Mark and I skinned out early, we was tired from working a job the night before. I was about to fall asleep on the ride home. I slept for a lil bit, then got up. Nice seeing everyone at the creek. Glad ya all got some gold. Nice meeting the guys way upstream from us too  Hope to be able to prospect with ya all soon as well. |

New to the site. Must say I'm a bit upset that I decided to move to N.E. NC. If I find any gold around here it's Pirates gold or someone's tooth.
Son goes to UNC Chapel Hill and I see a few old mines listed. Anyone ever checked out any of the creeks there?

welcome to the forum. i think there are some people on here from around there. not sure about gold in that area myself but im sure someone could tell you something.
