I can pan fast though and yeah I was on private property well u have to go across private property to get there.. the river is public property unless the landowner specifically bought the mineral rights in the river... if u can manage to get there without crossing private property.. say walking in the river.. then u can do what u want within the nc mining laws..this applies to all rivers in nc... so dont let landowners tell u they own the river also.. unless they bought the mineral rights with their land purchase.....not being snippety just pointing out the nc laws...
