I was looking through some old photo's I took when I was dredging last year. I forgot how good some of my gold spots was.

I think that was just two hours of dredging... I was doing in the winter time and I was long arming it..

I should do pretty good when I get my dredge.. at least I hope . I've mostly been just panning lately. I have sluices and a highbanker but I haven't been using them as much. Sometimes I feel like just panning....

why dont ya use the highbanker? ya should recover far more gold right in that spot? I hate them 2 inch dredges.. they always be cloggin up.

I'm looking at getting a 2.5". I can't haul a bigger dredge up and down hills by myself... I use the highbanker sometimes

I'm looking at getting a 2.5". I can't haul a bigger dredge up and down hills by myself... I use the highbanker sometimes zip line it in and out, then ya just can pull and push it.. pretty easy..

Depending on where ya at, you could do a power sluice. That's what I did before the 5" Gold Grabber came along. I have a 3" HB/ dredge combo for small creeks. 16" x 48" sluice. Shovel or dredge all ya want without over loading sluice. P180 pump on 5hp Briggs.
