Just a heads up to all the non-GPOC members or ECP non-members most of the core of our two clubs will be at this event, this is a good time to get to know people. ECP is fixing to release some good gold spots (gps coordinates), but ya have to be invited into the core to get these coordinates. Ain't tryin to make ya pay money to come or anything like that, but once ya get to know the guys, your pretty much in. ECP does have some almost semi private spots.
Just tryin to give ya a heads up on this event though.

This outing is drawing near. It looks like we are going to have cool weather and that is very unusual for this time of the year. It appears we are going to have a good turn out of people but there is always room for more. If you do not want to participate in the dig you are welcome to drop by and visit. Thanks James for allowing us to post this outing on the forum.

Well, 11 good folks have shown up so far. Looks like we we will be having a great time. Although, my patented vagina scope has had a couple of hits on some of our male members.
I'll let them explain.
Cheers, Bruce

8-)I woke up to a drizzling rain. Who in their right mind would want to go and shovel mud in the rain? See you guys when I get there. There ain't no hurry. Gonna stop by Walmart and get a rain suit.

Let me tell you, It's been awhile since I had this much fun! I laughed so hard I had tears in my eyes! The atmosphere of this outing was top shelf for sure. Wes did one hell of a job on this one. The food was awesome too. The door prizes were great and everyone got gold. The people who run Mt Creek Gold Mine are good people. I will go back there. Vic

Had a great time and did not mind the rain. Mostly dirzzel all day. Heck we were getting wet from the equipment anyway. I was glad to have my homemade highbanker setup as I found some very small tweeks that could really make it sing. Hasving the type of ore with the clay really showed me what that thing could do. I am very pleased with the hopper and sluice. We could shovel as hard as we wanted and it was catching very fine gold.
Wes, did an outstanding job putting the event together. Also a salute to everyone else that helped out, brought food and supported the event. We even had some of our forum members just drop by to say hello.
I think the drawing for prospector supplies was a hit as well. If we need to start a money donation for future drawings, count me in. Details such as that really ramps up the event. Missed the pan and nugget by 1 number! Many thanks to Bruce for the donation of pan and nugget for drawing.
Food!!!! What can I say!!! Great job! Again, all helped out and Wes is the man on that nice grill!

Final weight. Looked a lot heavier than .07 grams. Had a great time and probably could've got more if my partner would've shut da fuque up and washed more rocks. Just kidding Vic, it was a blast. Would've posted sooner but I had some computer problems this week.
