Tested out the heater this weekend. It worked great!! Only thing I need to do it get another hot water line so I can get further away from the land based unit. I haven't found a heavy duty small boat yet to have it in the water with me. I also found out that propane tanks float. After chasing it for 1000 yards (no Joke but funny),I finally was able to retrieve it.

Why don't ya convert your dredge to propane, then mount the hot water heater to the dredge, and use one propane tank to power both machines? www.propanecarbs.com/small_engines.html

RWH, great to here unit is working fine. Had to put my project on hold. How did the single supply line work in regards to distributing the water around the body? I bet there is a way to use a wire mount on your dredge. I have found that if I make my supply tubes longer (longer than leg and arms) I can install easy by myself. The ankles hold the line in place as you work up the wet suite and line. Also, the longer lines can heat boots and gloves. I also found some plugs at Home Depot in the drip hose/irrigation section for ends of tubing. I did install hose in my wet suite and it did not feel uncomfortable at all. Very excited about this new venture. The single feed worked fine. The water fills up the suit and when you get horizontal and move around the water moves around with you trying to find exit points. I do want to do a better job of fixing a location for the shutoff valve. Thinking about a Velcro armband just for easy access. Mounting the heater to the dredge is a no go for my 4" mini. The tank weighs too much. Once I get my boat mount set up, this won't be an issue. On a side note, I got my new 7x14 trailer today and started getting all the materials to convert it into a toy hauler

Looking good. Is your wet suite real tight on you, snug or kinda loose? And... did your hands/feet get cold? Assuming you have 5mm gloves/boots. I like the quick disconnect at diver and the shut off on pump is a must for summer also priming pump. The drip filter looked interesting. I have two screens on mine so I'll go with that for now. Glad it worked!

Glad it worked! Feet were fine I was getting warm water in them from heater unit but hands got a bit chilly. My gloves are regular mechanic gloves with no insulation. I'd be fine with diving gloves tho. My suit is a 7 mm Lon John with hood and fits fairly tight. Hate the attached hood tho
