I spent the day repairing split and frozen water pipes. Every call could have been avoided if they would have simply ran a small stream of water from their faucets and opened up them cabinet doors below their sinks. Oh well, like Ron White says: "you can't fix stupid". It's going to be worse tonight cause it didn't warm up today and that cold is setting deep into the walls. hope this helps.

I kept all mine running last night in hopes that they didnt freeze and all was well. I have my fingers crossed that the same happens tonight also! It is crazy cold out thats for sure.

I have spent the entire day today removing water from houses and setting up drying equipment. I love stupid people, they make me lots of money LOL

I made it through the night with no busted pipes. The tips given above make all the diffrence i also have central heating so that helps a little bit too.

To be fair, most of the jobs yesterday was a result of stupid plumbers running bopper pipes through non heated or insulated area. Look for more today as they begin to thaw out.

I inadvertently used a good stream and steam system under the house... Water Heater pressure relief valve blew.... and constantly running... workin on it but I have dental surgery today so it sux I don't have the time to fix main water switched off for now... ughhh...
