Dr Phil had one at our last outing, pretty neat and very compact! Wes

It's the best 2.5 on the market. Don't take my word for it, ask Astro and Dr. Phil. I have videos on YT showing it up close and in action. Run it pretty flat and you don't need too much throttle. Their pumps work much better than Keene or Proline. Got a creek? Astro and I will show up and you can try one on for size. Lol!

wait a minute here, we're really gonna let Indy and Astro across state lines? You know that dredge is infested with ugly SC gold. Ha! J/K Jerry.
I'm in the market too for a 2 or 2.5" and this thing intrigues me...

Hatter is right. Don't waste your money on a 2". Yep, Dave and Hatter, you are both welcome to give it a try. I agree with you Dave. SC gold is ugly. You don't want any of that spoiling your NC nuggets and pickers. It obviously only captures fine gold not the gold you are used to getting. I guess it just spits the big stuff out. Lol.

I'm with you on a 2" vs a 2.5" as far as ease of use and amount of material you can move and less clogs. My original idea of a 2" vs 3", with Keene in mind, the 3" is too big for mobility and for the streams i would use it in.
Indy, with the pump that comes with the Dahlke, is there an option for a sprayer/blaster hose? That's one advantage with a Keene 2", atleast i think i remember it having a blaster hose, which i was surprised considering the small pump.
Then there's the power jet vs. suction nozzle question.

I don't know if that option is available or not Dave. Not even sure if Bob Dahlke's brother will continue with the business or not as he is pretty old. I hope so. Give the dredge a try sometime and make up your own mind. You may or may not like it but at least you will have experience using it at no cost. Can't beat that.
You are welcome to give it a try too Hatter. Most any Sunday is good for me if I haven't gotten something lined up. I'll even furnish the gas and hot dogs. Not Dave's famous hardwood smoked pig but good if you are hungry.

Listen to Indy. I have tried a lot of dredges, mini dalhke is the one I would buy if I had the money. So portable and powerful, and easy to cleanup. Plus the dovetail riffles are great on fine gold and they are comparable to the reversed riffles in the Clarkson study.

My offer to try the dredge is still good for everyone. I have no stock in the company and am not even sure if Bob Dahlke's brother will continue the business. Just thought some would like to take a closer look before making up their mind about what and which size dredge to purchase from any manufacturer. It's not a competition, just information. Got a creek? I don't mind the travel if it's not too far. Anyone want to buy the 5 inch Keene I got from Shay? It' a monster. Too much for an old, broken down man like me!

I will take you up on this in a few months and it will be a creek worth your drive up here. I may even have you bring the monster 5 even though I have my own big dredge already.
