I have a belt that Wes and Will-D gave me (many thanks again) and it gives me problems while down. Kills my back. Is there a better way and keeping a fast release? I have heard of some using a harness type system made from military harness straps.
What type of system do you use?

Google DUI weight harness. Hands down the best and it comes from one of the most trusted names in the diving business. Uses the soft weights that you can get at most any dive shop. Keene also makes a vest that utilizes the soft weights, but you have to dig through their catalog to find them.

I have a harness (shoulder strap type) but I'm not a big fan. I always got tangled up in them and putting on and taking off was a pain to deal with. I do, however, like the idea of a vest type system but that will make quick disconnects tough. My belt has pocket/bags for the weights that go arounfd my whole waist which distributed the weigh a bit more equally.
