Last couple months, I was starting to get bored with gold, and having a lot of fun with rock collecting, but Indy's recent video revitalized me and got me interested again so I decided to go through some of my concentrates. I have been cleaning up my gold take so far from SC's trips that I never got around to last year (private property owned by a friend of mine). This gold is from several trips of my own panning and sluicing and once running the goldsnare sgs2 dredge. I still have a lot more concentrates to go through (at least 1/2 of a 5 gallon bucket of super cons plus some more scattered quart containers), these pics are far from done. I also have to pan out the cons from me and Indy's dredging trip there with the mini dahlke, then split that 50/50.
Also I have another pan with all the mercury gold that needs cleaned before I add it to this. Once I get through all that, I will start cleaning up all my cons from NC last year. I actually stopped cleaning this stuff up because my neck was bothering me from so much from all the bending. Hope ya like the pics. I sure do like handling this shiny stuff. Oh and I havent weighed nothing yet, but im guessing its around half an ounce so far once i get all the lead and other gangue out. No telling how much is in the rest of the cons, hopefully enough to make some pretty smiley face pics when its all said and done.
