This is all from overburden and a little real pay...
Side note: I must say I have never seen garnets of such a beautiful color and clarity that is not already cut... But on to the actual yellow, these are all the same pan.
This is about 10 gallons of material classed to 1/4 mesh and sluiced in a 35 year old keene a52 sluice with just carpet, rotting old expanded metal, and the original rusting riffles and clamps: Tailings tested time and time again, no gold... period.

Unfortunately not at this time... That's why we are sluicing and we also built a hillbilly version of a rocker box using an a52 clone as the bottom sluice and a catch trap under the classifier. It works great too. I'll get some pics of us working tomorrow some. Would like to get indy or astro to come shoot some video one day soon.

Ya should try to get a hooncoop highbanker to run that dirt, they do an awesome job on gold recovery.

Aren't even allowed to highbank in this area either... So its slow going... The rocker box sped up production pretty well though.

ignore the flare we don't run it in the water... all the water is poured in the classifier and rocked while pouring and screening.

Astro and I are headed your way soon, Loki. We tossed it around a few times and thought a video would be cool. He is just like me though. There never seems to be any time to play. He starts a new job next week I think so I'm not sure how that will change his free time. But, sounds like fun. Count us in.

So here is the spot in the creek that we are working. I don't mind showing as this is private property. We discovered this large boulder that is all quartz with thousands of garnets still in the conglomeration of the boulder.... We moved it today with just large pry bars. We opened a new channel to start working under it, the tailings are ancient rocks. Upstream view. The big one... This has been in the ground since time put it there, we've moved many more larger... This is the backside of some of our tailings, new flooded in material. This is the front of some of our tailings, old conglomerated broke up material. Channel we cleared behind the boulder...

I left the cons at camp waiting for me next weekend to add more to.
But from what I panned after running the shaker table it was about the same as the last weekend maybe a lil better but no pickers...
Spent more time moving rocks and excavating than actual sluicing...
