Hello to all, I am new to the club but have been told by jpgold that you are a great group of people and that I should expect wonderful things to happen and i will become rich in gold if I follow your lead. Ha. I know he is not stable and should be on medication just like the rest of the gold seeking community at large.
Joey(ncgold) and I have been dredging and panning and scratching around in NC and the NF for about a year together and its been great fun but now I am ready for something more profitable. I have several things I use to catch gold and have fun with but I also have plans to build something that will produce if I can find someplace to do just that. I am working on a small 4 dredge but am open to a large high banker system as well. I have just finished a small 8 inch unit that will fit into a conoe for testing or just plain fun. I am of the mind that gold should be found first before any serious equipment choice can be made so I am stuck for the most part. I have a 13 hp honda and a p280 and a p180 and a t80 for air and a 24 inch sluice box and also a very large hopper. Joey has the other half of this monster sluice box. I think I am going to just get a 6.5 engine for the p 180 to use as a small high banker and 2 in dredge combo for now as i really do need something to play with. I am working on a site in Virginia that has several thousand acers of land in a gold producing county but it remains to be seen if i can get to any and all parts of it just yet. I do have 90 acers that needs to be looked at in Virginia as well. i Live in Greensboro nc but come down from Virginia 5 years ago. I am retired so I am broke all the time but have really good working hours and most days off so if you guys want a digging buddy from time to time i will work for food and tobacco.
