2 17,000lb straps... check. 1 Come-a-long winch... check. 1 Large pry bar... check. 1 Crows foot torsion Pry bar 7' 50lb'r 2" dia. ... check. lol Well we successfully moved the large boulder onto solid rock out of the hole that it was in. Phew... We're all sore.. LOL  There weren't too many options on a toe hold for the strap but we found an out cropping that worked great. It tookall 3 of us to move this big boy. Pry and winch, repeat... For about 2-3 hours. Got it moved up over 1' out of the water and over out of the hole about 7'. This is the weekend before last gold. Few tubs of material and overburden ran digging under and around the boulder... Material from under boulder. After moving boulder this is a sample tub of the surrounding area under and around it.

about 6000lb... It was fun. we bent the handle at near the end of moving the boulder... we straighten out and it would just bend up again... lol it worked for a 20 year old tool...

Just to put the volume to gold ratio in perspective, one tub is a black concrete tub from lowes so about 4-5 gallons at best of material.

me and my friend moved a huge boulder one time with just a 6 ft bar. it took all day and it was tough to do but we moved it about 4 ft from where it was sitting. ran about 5 buckets and ended up finding the biggest piece of gold ive ever found. keep digging.
