to get the 6 1/2" X 33" sluice to run, I had to dam the whole creek up from side to side.. just enough water to run 1/2" classified material. This gold is what is in the sandbar.. I have just started hitting bedrock. I hope to find some chunks !!!!

soon it will be almost impossible to run a sluice. I don't mind panning though its all good. they say we are supposed to get 2 inches of rain here over the week. I hope so.

I was still able to run it today, but again , I had to make a dam from side to side. Lots of extra work !!! I may start using my Pyramid Pro Pan.. at least until we get some rain!!! I did not pan my cons.. I will tomorrow then post pictures.. GOOD LUCK OUT THERE.. and watch for SNAKES !!!

I have really enjoyed having this Keene A51A sluice, it catches fine gold and is easy to set up. I went to the creek yesterday, I will post pictures of the gold I got after I pan the cons today. I need to build a Miller table !!!!
This is an edit to the above post....6/2/2015
Sorry I have not posted the pictures yet.. I have been pressure washing in the rain... finishing tomorrow..
