The rogue river is THE PLACE TO BE if you want to dredge and make money doing it in the lower 48. Naturally the environuts with the help of the USFS are doing everything in their power to shut it down for the next 7 years. In recent months leading up to this new legislation there has been a string of dredge thefts on the rogue river and nearby. The USFS and other politically involved groups are the culprits, these dredges have yet to be found for sale (in whole or scrap) meaning they weren't stolen for the $$$.
If you have the time send these idiots an email or better yet call them up and chew their ass out over the phone. This would affect a good few livelyhoods if this were to pass.
