Howdy all new guy here from eastern NC. Been to Uwharrie a few times now and actually found some color im my pan. Got a little sluice box now and planning on trying it out this week. Headed their on Thursday for the weekend. Been metal detecting now for a couple of years also. Hope to meet some of yall out their one day.

New member, here. Been prospecting for about 10 years. I'm from Gaston County. I have found gold in a lot of the creeks here, but it tends to be very fine. I have grubbed in several areas of North and South Carolina. I have been out in the Uwharries a couple of times but never found anything to brag about. Plan to try again in June. I am also a Gem and Mineral collector. This grew out of gold prospecting trips that were in areas where there were odd and beautiful rocks. (I tend to like unusual rocks as much as valuable ones).

I'm also still seeing my user's name linked to my email when I get the "We found an existing ProBoards account using that email" and enter my password, so even the user's name is still in the server. Also the user's name here is a little bit different than I use on any other forum. Hey James, I got Proboard to delete the above account, I re-registered here and still had the same issues, apparently my email provider blocks Proboard for some reason, so I did what you suggested and opened a g-mail account and registered again using Au Seeker as my user's name since I couldn't use Gold Seeker. So if I could get you to delete my other Gold Seeker account so I can see if the forum will let me change my user's name to Gold Seeker I would appreciate it, I still may have to go over to ProBoard again to get them to delete it there as well.
