Thanks for letting me in on this forum. It's more beneficial to me more so than many others because I don't live any where close to the gold. If there's anyone that wants to visit the beach, give a holler and we'll set up a metal detecting outing for you. During the right time of year, we can even supply the fish, shrimp and blue crabs.

Fish, shrimp and blue crabs... got my vote! Bob, ever been around Ft. Fisher waterway metal detecting? I had a friend that did some in a boat. He was finding over shot cannon balls embedded in the banks. He said he had to disarm some of them. To me, that's not for me.

I used to surf at fort fisher. I found cannon ball fragments on the beach. Many sharks teeth also.

Many years ago there was a homeless man that lived in the Fort Fisher area. He was known as the Fort Fisher Hermit. He was murdered there by person or persons still unknown.
A good friend of mine took the user name of Hermit on one of the metal detecting clubs in the area.

hmm I just made a test account.. I didn't need an activation key.. might be from the proboard server, sometimes it can take 1-2 hours to get the mail.. But usually it's right away.

I'm not sure if you have completely delete all the info yet from my prior registration because when i try to register again, I'm getting this...
"We found an existing ProBoards account using that email. Enter your password to login and proceed with Forum Registration."

ya, that's the front for proboards, basically it's everything proboards, so if your on multiple forums you have one login.. If you have another email address, I would use it for a new registration. Ya can get a free gmail account. www.gmail.com

I don't think that the case, every forum no matter the Host would have it's own spot on the server, I think what is happening is that you've deleted user's name for this forum, but it didn't delete the email address on the server for this forum, I think that you will have to send a request to the host to get the issue resolved.
I will check back tomorrow and see if I can register again, I don't need another email account, I can hardly keep track of the one I have. LOL

I'm also still seeing my user's name linked to my email when I get the "We found an existing ProBoards account using that email" and enter my password, so even the user's name is still in the server.
Also the user's name here is a little bit different than I use on any other forum.

Whats going on guys! I am still around, Eastern US Prospectors never fixed my posting issue so I just read and bother BobG with PM's every once in a while. Hopefully I will be able to post here with no issues. Good looking forum James. I am back in school full time right now but hopefully this summer I can get out and find some of that shiny stuff with you guys.
