The filter I have is a Watts Fluidair F35-02DHS. It recommends installing it between the reserve air tank and the air line going to the regulator, which means the reserve tank really needs to be mounted in place on the dredge frame so the filter housing stays verticle. It may not matter if the filter is upside down or horizontal, but it just seems to me it should stay in the proper orientation. www.wattsfluidair.com/catalogs/0304-2_Qube_FRLs.pdfOnline for $31.79 store.livhaven.com/f35-02dh-watts-fluidair-pneumatic-filter.htmlNorth Carolina Dealers: Livingston & Haven P.O. I think I'll get me one. Never know what you will be breathing.
You mentioned a pressure guage, Mark. Is that necessary with the filter or not?

Here's a link that works for the "Introduction to Hooka Diving" at Keene's website. Art I learn a while back to get any of the links on that resource page to copy correctly you have to open them in a new tab and not just click on them. www.keeneeng.com/pamphlets/introHooka.html My hooka setup has a filter and a gauge on it, it was that way when I purchased it from the original owner, he is from Canada but would go to California every summer to dredge in the Klamath River on the New49ers claims.

They do not keep this item in stock and is now 46.58 that include shipping from manufacture. Wonder if we can find something cheaper? All were talking is a filter housing and a 20 micron filter.
