When I bought the 4'' Proline dredge last month I got an old Keene 3'' crash box sluice, power jet, suction hose and swivel nozzle in the deal.Everything was in very good shape, hardly used. I decided to build a dredge from these parts so I ordered a p180 pump for a straight shaft 6.5 hp Honda eng that I had aquired. I ordered a Prolinne 3''highbanker float kit. Had a few issues with the angle of the jet going into the crash box but finally figured out a cure. Ready to test it as soon as the weather breaks. Thanks for the help Dwight! Wes

Sounds great, Wes. That dredge could be setup as a shallow creek dredge with suchion nozzel too. I kept all my other equipment just for that. Some of the best gold I have ever seen came from a creek that barely had enough water to run a pump. It was not uncommon to first build a dam to collect water just to pan. And... of course, the creek dried up in the summer. I feel sure that this is why the gold was better. No way to sample so the area was never worked and not enough to move it to far.
