I went to 4 really nice spots that an old time dredger showed me where they dredged started and stopped as late as 2003. Where in the creek to pull nuggies out of, he also showed me the collection of pennyweight and half pennyweight nugs they were finding before the dredging was shut down... Gonna go this weekend and move some big rock and start digging some big holes.

Well spent 2 days moving slabs and boulders to get the site ready. This is from the first test run of a few buckets from the silt and top layer of the bench. Can't wait to get back this weekend and get more material processed.   |
