Gold Rush Guys will be there with a nice set up.
Also Kannapolis, NC (Formerly Matthews Chapter) Chapter of the GPAA will have a booth and be selling their Raffle tickets for their upcoming Gold Festival in October. Also there will be going on a Coin show in one of the other buildings.
This will be a Friday and Saturday show as compared to a Saturday & Sunday show. (GPAA felt that they just get the turnouts on Sunday here in the Bible Belt.)
If you come to the show, stop by and say hello to everyone in the Kannapolis GPAA Booth.

I don't know how good a turnout there will be on a Friday. I will be in the Charlotte area that weekend, so I plan on going Friday. I will probably stop by Saturday afternoon also. They give away really cool door prizes at the end of each day.

I will have a booth there and probably Martin Prospecting from South Carolina with all his new toys that he has been working on. Looking forward to it and hopefully there will be a great turnout. The same weekend there will be a Coin Show in the back building. It may help to increase the attendance for the Gold Show and get some new prospectors started.

2 Events - Same Weekend
The GPAA National Show is coming to Charlotte, NC September 13-14. It will be held at the Charlotte, Metrolina Tradeshow Expo. located at 7100 Statesville Rd., Charlotte, NC, 28269. It will have Lectures and Seminars with major raffles and door prizes. A Vial of placer gold to the first 100 paid attendees.
Admission will be $5 with children under 12 FREE.
The Expo features include Gold Nuggets, jewelry, prospecting equipment, vendor demonstrations, metal detectors, spiral gold pans, dredges, highbankers and outdoor equipment. This event will be held in the Main Hall.
Make plans on the weekend.
The "Carolina Coin and Stamp Show will be held in the back building the September 13-15. Admission to this Coin & Stamp Show is free.
