I knew you were. Cheers! Hey... it would be cool to dredge again in UNF. But, then again, the fools would destroy the place so I understand why things are the way they are.

Don't fool your self There will be more park rangers working during the shut down than normal. This week they were running people off Cape Lookout and Shack had more rangers than a regular day and there were down to every boat saw a 18 ft jon boat in the fleet. I would not ride these waters in a 18 ft jon boat

Does anyone know if the campgrounds and or shower houses are closed? Planning on heading that way next weekend.

I would like to think that by next weekend they would be open. I wouldn't plan on it for this weekend. Perhaps the smaller one on Reservation road may be open, but about all you get there is an out house, but it's free. There's another one up on Ophir road, but it has a gate so it's probably locked. I would like to know as well if anyone has other any info on whether or not any of the camp sites are open?

The weekend after this coming. I guess if the campgrounds are closed you would still be able to do primitive camping? Me and my oldest son are gonna ride the ohv trails. ben told the trtrails are still open. Of course there will be some creek time also.
