Spent the weekend camping out got to camp later Saturday morning than I wanted but at least I got there. The water in the creek Saturday was high and muddy... The must have been releasing water upstream in anticipation of this rain... So since the water was higher than I care for sluicing I just dug as much material as I could screen and store till the next day. Sunday was another great day and the water was back to normal and clear again. One of my new friends that I met lives close by so he came up earlier and we got a nice early start and begun stockpiling even more material. We finally stopped at around 25 gallons of 1/4" material. Give or take a couple of gallons... lol This is how we had our sluices running: That's me. The headless sluicer! LOL And this is a lil preview:
