Hello everybody im new to posting on the forum but not new to the forum itself ive been reading it for awhile now and belive it is the best on the net. A little bit about myself i grew up in unf in randolph county but i now live in denton davidson county i have been prospecting and mining off and on my whole life in the uwharries and understand them very well. I recently have overcome problems in my life that will alow me to go back to the forest to do what i love to do. I hope i can make some freinds from this site as i know some of you spend alot of time in unf and so do i. I am willing to show some good spots on gamelands in unf in return for other good spots. Bottom line i just want to know more people like myself who love uwharrie. Thank you for your time

Welcome to the forum Uregold, ya we been hitting the forest pretty hard over the winter. Just about every weekend, maybe we can meet up and go out.

Thanks here lately just been highbanking on some private land but after deer season i plan to hit uwharrie pretty good i mainly use a small slucie box, hand tools, classifier, ect and dig around montgomery,randolph counties. I hope this season turns out good i know im happy with this years take so far. |

Thanks i try to stay out of the woods this time of year because of deer season but let me know next time you plan on going i may be able to meet you at the outpost or something i use a small homemade slucie box that works pretty well and i know some places to go. |

We are usually away from the Hunters, where ever they may be.. The roads we are on you barely ever see a car parked on it. We got some reflective vests if ya need one. I noticed about the deer hunting and UNF is they are all over it on thanksgiving weekend and then it's pretty dead, then the last weekend they can hunt it's full again. |
