If you get a new computer like I did and need to transfer files over from your Google Earth and it's server. Here is what to do. Credit goes to Matt (Loki258) Many thanks to Matt!
If in google earth then save your places to a .kml file. (right click, save as to kml file and to desktop) Then copy to new pc (copy in GE folder, double click to open)and reopen with google earth. move from the temp places to your places to make permanent.
