I have a place I won't get shot at, lol. It is my best friends property in Tamassee. It has the Little River and Smeltzer creek on his property and it almost touches the NF. I was wondering if anyone had a dredge for the river and wanted to go split up what we get, if we get! I haven't tried Smeltzer Creek yet but I panned a little in the river but it was too deep for that, no sandbars worth anything that I saw but I didn't try much of it and I am fairly new.
Just wondering if anyone has tried any near here and if so any advice?

Could we make it a small group thing? We could get together 3 or 4 dredges and enough people to run them. The more dredges, the more sampling we can get going

That would be fine. I am going with a friend on Sunday but we do not have a dredge but he is more knowledgeable than I am and we will test pan / sluice and see if we get anything. I don't want to waste a group of peoples time. Of course there is areas on the little river that could contain gold that only a dredge can get to so would definitely need your help

Tamassee? I just took it as a type error. Maybe a town in SC? Still would like to get the guys together to dredge again.
