Prospecting and camping in UNF..
Would anyone be interested in a weekend trip if we can find a good temperature weekend?

Ya I went to uwharrie this weekend and loved it! Did find much gold just flour stuff but I'm ready to go back...

i would like to camp. i also thought about floating the big river in my canoe and prospecting my way down lol. i think i got that fever also.

I most certainly would be up for this. My trip this weekend had to be cancelled do to unfortunate reasons. Either setting up a base camp (car camping) or hiking into a location and camping there, I'm good with either.

HAHAHA do I have the spot for you! Vic and I have been to a spot that is the best to camp, the same as always gold but the best camping spot in the Forest for sure. If someone comes across you either they are looking for you or they are terrible lost, LOL. Oh and BTW I did find a very cool quartz vein that would be worth checking out since it lines up with several old mines.
